We’ve recently changed how the abort feature works. Previously either player could abort the game as long as black hadn’t yet moved. The intention of this feature was to give people an out when their opponent is away from the keyboard when the game starts. Unfortunately, due to abuse, we’ve changed it now so that you must wait 15 seconds to be able to abort, and you cannot abort the game once your opponent has made a move. This has resulted in the number of aborts being reduced drastically. For those who were using aborts to weed out opponents, you will have to use the game finder filters.
