GM Jergus Pechac
Bio
Jergus Pechac is a Slovakian chess player. Perchac became a grandmaster in 2019, breaking the record for the youngest Slovakian player to become a GM.
In 2021 he made headlines by offering GM Boris Gelfand a draw after Gelfand made a mouse slip in an online event. That same year he qualified to play in the World Cup, being eliminated by GM Alexandr Fier in the first round. In 2023, he played in the Tata Steel Chess Challengers tournament.
