UWI Chess Club

The UWI Chess Club is an organisation of the St Augustine Campus of the University of the West Indies. Its main focus is the promotion of chess among the students and staff, both recreationally and competitively. The club is affiliated with the Trinidad and Tobago Chess Association (TTCA) and works toward integrating the university's chess body with the larger national chess community. The goals of the club are met using a project management approach in conjunction with the innovation and brilliance of its members. The purpose of this group is to enhance communication among the club's members and serve as a platform for the promotion of the club as well as the distribution of chess knowledge.
